Christmas caroling is NOT dead... That's why we're putting on a harmony-filled Christmas show with not only your favourite Christmas jingles, but also Christmas medleys you've never even heard of (because we put them together!). This is a show that'll not only have you listening, but it's gonna be a beautiful night of sing-along songs that'll have you singing and clapping WITH us. We had such a blast at our Holiday Harmony Jingle Jam last year that we had to do it again, and we'd LOVE for you to

This has become one of our favourite songs to sing live. It was written by a Swedish friend of ours that we met while living in Japan, and we loved it so much we had to record it ourselves. "One For the Road" - The Janzen Boys | The Janzen Boys

There's no band right now that leaves me reeling and in tears like The Pairs. It's the kind of music that leaves your head spinning and wondering "How can sound be this beautiful?" There's something more than sound here.... and only a few of those tears are because I know we need to practice a lot harder to be this good 😬 #harmonygoals Thank God for @Folkmusicontario conference for making moments like this happen. Christmas in Winnipeg gets its first audience and its first full performance. If 2026 goes the way we are hoping, we will have a it and a whole bunch more songs on a Christmas album ready for next year. Thanks to all who came to concerts this year, and we are looking forward to what is to come. What songs do you think absolutely must be on the Christmas album? | The Janzen Boys

NEW SONG! “Christmas In Winnipeg” is what we’re calling it. I guess this is what happens when a blizzard hits and cancels the show you were supposed to play. I am not known as the most positive winter person, but this is me attempting to be as Pollyanna as I possibly can about winter and cold and blizzards. What should the second verse be about? This one will definitely be on that Christmas album we are determined to make happen a year from now… And hat tip to @loudo3 because I started thinking

We sold out our show at the Lunenburg Opera House!! Wowowow! Never did I imagine we’d have a full house (pun intended 😏🤣) when we first booked this show. Thank you all so much for coming out and making this evening so special to us. We will be back. Tonight we’re wrapping up our Maritime shows in Maitland, NS before we head back west. Still some tickets available at the door. See you there! Upcoming shows: Maitland - TONIGHT - High Tides Arts & Community Centre Montreal - July 29 - La Sotteren

📬 If you like what you hear, I want to send you a CD and a personalized letter... FOR FREE 📬 Ok, well, the "Backroads" CD is $0, we just need you to pay the shipping fee (so we don't go completely broke). We've been playing together as a band since I was 9 (I'm the curly-headed mandolin guy) and we sound way different than how we used to (way fewer voice cracks). So, we wanted to do a remake of our oldest EP (which we released 8 years ago) called "Roads," and made an updated version of it call

JJ here. This vid was causing me to reflect on the beautiful accident of musical friendships that happen throughout a life. This was filmed at the home of our friends Jason and Laura, who live in Nashville, Tennessee. I met Jason when we lived in Japan in the early 2000s, a young adventurer from Nashville (but, proudly, with deep roots in Texas) with a musical heritage and an ability to play the guitar unlike anyone I had met. We formed a band and played whatever weird or wonderful gig we could

With Jonah’s high harmonies taking us to even higher heights we thought we’d take a shot at what is probably a “folk standard” at this point. Any other folk standards that we should be adding to the repertoire? #CSNY #helplesslyhoping | The Janzen Boys
